HOW TO CONSIGN
***
Please read the following carefully before your
consignment appointment. Please double check all
of your items before you come in.
If it
does not follow these guidelines we ask that you
do not bring it with you in order to save
time.

Clothing & Shoes:
1)
All
clothing must be freshly laundered (ironed when
necessary) and laid out flat with it's
matching pieces in a box or plastic bin.
Note: we
will not accept clothing that smells like smoke
or has pet hair on them.
We can not accept clothing that is wrinkled.
2)
All
clothing must be in style- no older than 4
years. Please
make sure all buttons, snaps and zippers are
done and ready to go on a hanger.
3)
We
can not accept clothes that are stained, ripped,
faded, have worn cuffs, missing buttons or are
only half of a two piece set.
4)
We
accept children sizes infant-8 yrs.
5)
We
accept children’s shoes in mint condition and
current styles up to youth 1.
6)
Fall/
Winter clothes are accepted August 1 –November
1
Spring/ Summer clothes are accepted
February 1 –May 1
Equipment
& Toys:
7)
Toys
and equipment must be clean and in good repair-
no missing pieces and instruction manuals when
possible.
If the item comes with numerous pieces please
secure them in a zip lock bag.
8)
Battery
operated toys
and equipment must have working batteries in
them so the customer can see how it works.
9)
Please
do not bring large equipment in boxes unless it
is brand new. We display all equipment out
of the box and do not have room to store extra
boxes. We do not take
equipment older than 6 years. No car seats
please.
Details:
10)
All
merchandise must be brought in by appointment.
You may call or email to schedule.
11)
All
of your items will be fairly priced.
You will receive 40% of the final selling
price of your items less buyer’s fee and sales
tax. You
can use your money as store credit at anytime in
which you will receive an extra 10%..
If you choose not to do this, payment will be sent to you when your
account reaches $25.00.
12)
The
price of the item will be set by management at
the time of consignment.
13)
All
items are kept for a period of 90 days, with
possible markdowns taken at anytime.
Markdowns depend on the condition, season
and demand for the item.
In addition, Berry Patch Kids will hold
normal periodic sales for out-of-season and
clearance merchandise and any merchandise in
stock is subject to these sales.
14)
If
your items have not sold after 90 days and YOU
NEED TO GET THEM BACK please call 48 hours ahead
of time and we will pull your items and have
them waiting for you.
We will only do this for one week
following the 90 day period.
After that time all items not picked up
will become the property of Berry Patch Kids and
may be donated to charity.
A pick up fee of .20 cents per item will be deducted from your
account. This fee
covers the cost of supplies to tag and price
your items.
15)
There
will be a one time administration fee of $10.00
for all new consignors.
This fee may be taken out of your first
commissions if preferred.
18)
You may come into the store and request a
complete listing of your inventory anytime
following a week after your drop off
appointment.
